These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the EmuInbox websites, mobile application, APIs, and related business services (collectively, the "Service"). EmuInbox is the product and service name used by the developer identified as EmuInbox in the applicable app store listing and Service interface ("EmuInbox", "we", "us", or "our").
These are the common Terms for the EmuInbox web service and mobile application. A feature-specific notice, organization agreement, or purchase disclosure may add terms for that feature, but it does not replace these Terms unless it expressly says so.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the EmuInbox Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization within the permissions assigned to your account.
The Service is intended for business use by users who are at least 16 years old and legally permitted to use it. It is not directed to children.
EmuInbox is an organization-based CRM and operations workspace. Depending on the organization configuration and assigned permissions, the Service may provide shared email, customer and contact records, opportunities, todos, calendars, notifications, internal chat, files, invoices, electronic-signature workflows, business requests, approvals, exports, and AI-assisted document processing.
The App Store and Google Play versions are companion applications for existing organization users. Account registration, organization setup, plan selection, subscription management, and payment are performed on the EmuInbox website. The mobile application does not sell subscriptions or accept payment.
Features may vary by platform, plan, organization configuration, region, and user permission.
You must provide accurate information, protect credentials and MFA codes, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You must not share an individual login or bypass authentication, authorization, plan, or security controls.
An organization administrator controls organization membership, roles, access, configuration, and organization business data. Organization users understand that authorized administrators may access, manage, export, retain, or delete organization data according to the organization relationship and applicable law.
We may require email verification, MFA, reauthentication, or other reasonable checks. Optional biometric quick unlock is performed by the device operating system; EmuInbox does not receive or store fingerprint or facial templates.
Users and organizations may submit messages, files, customer records, business documents, comments, chat content, and other material ("User Content"). As between you and EmuInbox, you or the relevant organization retain rights in User Content.
You grant EmuInbox and its service providers a limited right to host, store, copy, transmit, display, analyze, transform, and otherwise process User Content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service, perform requested integrations or AI-assisted functions, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority, notices, permissions, and lawful basis needed to submit User Content, including personal information, confidential business information, email content, customer information, financial records, and third-party documents.
You must not use the Service to:
EmuInbox may apply automated rules to reject or limit clearly prohibited messages or files. These rules do not replace user responsibility or organization review.
The mobile application provides mechanisms to report objectionable chat messages and users and to block users in direct conversations. Organization administrators are the primary reviewers of reports made inside their organization and may investigate, remove content, restrict access, or take other appropriate organizational action.
If a report concerns an organization administrator, is not addressed within a reasonable period, or a user wishes to challenge an organization-level decision, the user may contact [email protected]. EmuInbox may review the minimum information necessary for safety, support, legal compliance, or enforcement and may take platform-level action where appropriate. We do not guarantee a particular outcome for every report.
The Service may connect to services selected by the organization or user, including email providers, identity providers, payment processors, cloud infrastructure, notification services, document-processing services, AI providers, and electronic-signature recipients. EmuInbox application and API servers are operated in Australia. Data and files may be stored or backed up using Amazon Web Services (including Amazon S3), Microsoft Azure, and other configured infrastructure services. Third-party services may have separate terms and privacy practices.
You authorize EmuInbox to exchange the information necessary to perform a connection or requested operation. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate third-party accounts and permissions.
Organizations may obtain free or paid plans through the EmuInbox website or a separate agreement. Current plan features, limits, prices, billing periods, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation options are those shown in the applicable web checkout, order, or agreement.
Only an authorized organization administrator may manage the organization subscription and billing settings. Payment-card details are processed by the payment provider; EmuInbox does not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes.
Unless the applicable order or agreement states otherwise, a paid subscription renews for the displayed billing period until an authorized organization administrator requests cancellation through the EmuInbox website. A cancellation request stops renewal and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. The organization retains access to the paid plan until that period ends and may withdraw the scheduled cancellation before the effective time where the Service provides that option.
Fees already charged are non-refundable, and EmuInbox does not provide prorated refunds or credits for an unused part of a billing period merely because the organization stops using the Service or schedules cancellation. This does not exclude a refund, remedy, or other right required by the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot be excluded, or a remedy expressly agreed by EmuInbox in writing. EmuInbox, not Stripe, decides whether a refund is available. Cancellation does not remove charges validly incurred before it became effective or resolve an outstanding payment obligation.
Canceling renewal does not delete the organization, user accounts, or organization data. Account and organization deletion are handled separately under Section 9. If an organization owner chooses immediate organization deletion, access and data are removed through that separate MFA-confirmed process and any unused part of the current billing period is not refunded or credited, except where required by non-excludable law.
Our collection and handling of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy. App-store privacy disclosures and Google Play Data Safety information should be read together with that policy and the in-product notices shown for particular permissions or features.
An ordinary organization member may request deletion of the member account through the available account settings. The member’s personal profile, authentication data, and organization access are removed or de-identified, but organization-owned business records may remain under organization control so that shared workflows, customer records, todos, messages, documents, audit history, and other business records remain complete.
An organization owner may close and delete the entire organization only through the EmuInbox website after MFA confirmation. This operation deletes the organization, its users, and organization business data, subject to limited records that EmuInbox must or may retain for billing, tax, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and deletion auditing.
The published deletion information and web pathway are available at https://crm.emuinbox.com/account-deletion. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
The Service software, design, branding, documentation, and underlying technology are owned by EmuInbox or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service or grant rights beyond the limited right to use it according to these Terms.
We may maintain, improve, add, limit, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes affecting a paid service.
EmuInbox uses automated technologies, including the OpenAI API and configured OCR or document-processing services, to provide selected AI-assisted features. When an authorized user requests one of these features, the relevant document, image, extracted text, prompt context, structured business fields, and generated result may be sent to and processed by the applicable provider solely as needed to perform, secure, troubleshoot, and support that request.
AI and OCR output may be incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, misclassified, or unsuitable for the intended purpose. Users remain responsible for checking source documents, correcting extracted fields, applying organization controls, and obtaining appropriate professional review before relying on or submitting an output. EmuInbox does not use these features to provide legal, tax, accounting, audit, employment, credit, insurance, or other professional advice, or to make solely automated decisions intended to produce legal or similarly significant effects about an individual.
Users must not submit personal information, sensitive information, confidential material, or third-party content that is unnecessary for the requested feature, and must have the required authority, notices, permissions, and lawful basis for information that is submitted. AI, OCR, cloud, and other providers may process information in Australia or other jurisdictions under their applicable service terms, privacy commitments, security controls, retention settings, and legal obligations.
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment, misuse, harm to users, or a legal requirement. An organization may stop using the Service subject to its applicable subscription, contract, export, retention, and deletion arrangements.
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmuInbox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or data. Where liability cannot be excluded but may be limited, liability is limited to the minimum remedy permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory rights or obligations that apply under the Australian Consumer Law, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), other applicable Australian law, or non-excludable law in a user’s location.
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes may be communicated through the Service, website, or email. Where law requires renewed consent, we will request it.
